Diane Kruger is the new face of L'Oreal Paris

Actress Diane Kruger is in our top ten style crushes here at Now - with her sexy understatement, she always manages to pull off a quirky look with elegance.

When news hit our beauty desk that she was to be the face of L'Oreal Paris, we weren't surprised.

Diane was billed as ‘the face that launched a thousand ships' when she stared as Helen in Troy alongside Brad Pitt in 2002.

German beauty Diane, who was a model before she hit the big time in movies, says:

'It's a great honour and a huge pleasure to become a Spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris... I am, of course, also delighted to be joining the other L'Oreal Paris Spokespeople, an extremely talented, widely-admired group of people.'

She means Penelope Cruz, Beyonce Knowles, Evangeline Lilly and our very own Cheryl Cole.

So, now Diane may be the face that sells a thousand lipsticks, foundations...
