For a change it wasn't Cheryl Cole's outfit that caused a stir on this weekend's X Factor.

It has taken The X Factor judge 8 live shows for her to finally go for the plunge and ditch her beloved hair extensions.

In the past Cheryl's said she doesn't feel glamorous with short hair.

The new shorter 'do proves that you can have 'mojo' in your hair without attaching an abundance of hair extensions.

In our opinion, the face of L'Oreal still looks as gorgeous, just without that WAG feel.

Celebrity hairdresser Errol Douglas says: 'Cheryl's got great hair both with and without the extensions so I love her new look'.

Next, we would like to see Cheryl with a sleek blow dry instead of the glamorous curly blow she always goes for!
