Stephanie Pratt is volunteering to check into a rehab facility to avoid a prison term.
Lawyer Jon Bryant Artz appeared at an LA court on Friday to enter a not guilty plea over The Hills star's recent drink-driving arrest.
He told the judge that Stephanie is willing to complete a 30-day rehab stint and to avoid driving until she gets a valid licence to keep her freedom.
‘She's trying one day at a time to do the right thing in respects to her life and facing whatever issues she may have,' Jon tells E! Online.
‘She's taking this case very seriously, and she's taking the issue of alcohol very seriously.'
Stephanie, 23, was arrested last month in Hollywood after driving home from co-star Holly Montag's birthday party.
If convicted, she faces up to six months in jail and a maximum $1,000 fine.
