Singer teams up with beauty brand to create debut fragrance

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is to launch her first fragrance.
The 34-year-old has teamed up with global brand Avon to create the new perfume.
‘I'm so excited to partner with Avon to develop my first-ever fragrance,' she says.
‘I'm always seeking out new ways to express myself and fragrance is the perfect opportunity to share my originality and confidence with my fans.'
Fergie has been heavily involved throughout the entire process of developing the perfume, from designing the scent, right through to the packaging.
The fragrance is due to hit the shops in August 2010.
Fergie joins Reese Witherspoon, Courteney Cox Arquette and Patrick Dempsey, who have all previously teamed up with Avon.
