Brad Pitt (born 18 December 1963) is entertaining, highly competitive and generous

Element: Fire
Ruling Planet: Jupiter
Lucky Stone: Turquoise
Symbol: the Archer
Where is the least likely place to find a Sagittarius? At a library, dull lecture or serious foreign film with subtitles. And should a person born under this sign have stumbled into such a place by accident or be forced to attend, they will instantly be recognised by their constant fidgeting, sighs and the speed at which they hit the exit as soon as they decently can.
The symbol of Sagittarius is the Archer but the archer himself is usually depicted as a centaur – half man, half horse. And it’s those horse hooves that give the clue to Sagittarius’ true nature.
People born under this sign hate to stand still or waste time on boring, sedentary activities. They hate to be fenced in in any way and prefer to be outdoors as much as possible.
The true Sagittarius is slim and athletic looking, with long legs, a fine head of glossy hair and enormous energy. To stay happy and healthy they need regular exercise and since they are also highly competitive they adore sport and often excel. Many athletes and footballers belong to the sign of the archer.
Ruled by the jolly planet Jupiter, Sagittarius is a gregarious sign. These types enjoy team games, parties and being surrounded by crowds of people.
They’re entertaining company with a ready wit and good-natured ability to laugh at themselves and see the funny side.
But never forget that Sagittarius is also a fire sign and that cheerful amiability can only be stretched so far. Overstep the mark and Sagittarius’ sweet smile will disappear and you’ll be left in no doubt they’re annoyed.
Fortunately temper tantrums are short lived and people born under the sign of the archer soon forgive and forget.
Diplomacy is not a Sagittarius strong point and there’s no doubt that they can be truthful to the point of painful bluntness – outspoken they call it – but their natural generosity soon soothes any ruffled feelings they may inadvertently have caused.
Just because Sagittarius loves the great outdoors doesn’t mean they’re unsophisticated or can’t cope with academic subjects. They adore new ideas and when their enthusiasm or curiosity is roused they are perfectly capable of overcoming heir aversion to sitting still.
Yet despite this, an all action profession would probably suit Sagittarius best – though they should be cautious about selecting a military career. While the energetic, unpredictable lifestyle would be immensely appealing Sagittarius is not cut out for strict discipline.
And a final word of warning. Sagittarius needs to be careful of getting drawn into gambling. The original ‘adrenaline junkies’ people born under the sign of the archer are dare devils who enjoy taking risks and the lure of a casino or a big roll over on the lottery can easily prove too string to resist.
Sagittarius in Love
The thing to remember about Sagittarius is that they can’t be caged in. Attempt to hang on to lovers born under this sign and it won’t be long until you hear the thunder of hooves as they bolt away to find their freedom.
Give them a long, long reign, keep it so slack they don’t even know it’s there and Sagittarius will happily stay put, eating apples out of your hand.
But don’t be fooled by scenes of domestic bliss. Deep down Sagittarius remains a competitive animal and expects a partner to make them look good. Neglect your appearance at your peril.
