A sign that has a pair of twins for a symbol is a bit of a puzzle. Can there really be two Gemini within one person?

When you get to know Gemini really well you discover that yes, it seems there can.

The dominant twin is popular, fun loving, immensely quick witted and incredibly clever. These types will dazzle you with their verbal dexterity then have you in stitches with their lightening jokes.

But the lesser Gemini can be moody, morose, or – influenced by mischievous Mercury – surprisingly naughty even when grown up.

And these two conflicting characters manage to live side by side within most outwardly serene Gemini, waiting to take their unsuspecting friends by surprise.

Lean, fast moving and light on their feet Gemini rarely stays in one place for long and for this reason they tend to be slim with a stylish but slightly eccentric look, as if they got dressed in a hurry and threw together whatever came to hand.

And no matter what their age they always appear younger than their years.

Being air signs they love ideas, new information and gossip. They’re quick learning and can grasp and adjust to sudden changes in the blink of an eye.

If you need flexibility then Gemini is your man, or woman. But then again that can also be a drawback.

Gemini is a brilliant and entertaining companion and is usually surrounded by friends. But reliability is hardly their middle name. They need constant stimulation and once they’ve cracked a problem they tend to lose interest.

They start great many projects but seldom finish them – which is a pity, because they often move on just when success is within their grasp and all too often someone less deserving gets the benefit of their hard work.

Ruled by the sign of Mercury, the messenger of the Gods Gemini are wonderful communicators. They have silver tongues and if they chose to devote their talents to sales, broadcasting or any career that requires persuasive charm they could make a fortune.

Yet stashing cash doesn’t interest them in itself. It’s the fun to be had earning it that drives them and once work ceases to be enjoyable they’re off the pastures new.

In their quest for endless novelty Gemini’s are born travellers and they prefer to roam the world than settle too long in one home.

Gemini in Love

It’s not an easy task being in love with Gemini and probably the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius are best suited to it. Gemini makes a fantastic date and knows how to give a companion a wonderful time but their need for constant diversion and mental challenges means they swiftly tire of one partner.

And since they can’t bear to be pinned down and have no sense of time or appointments, many partners swiftly tire of them. What’s more, air types live in their minds and demand a partner of equal intellect to keep up with them. Only the quickest of the quick can keep hold of a Gemini for long.

Manage this tricky task however and a life of variety and excitement could be yours.
