Artistic, colourful and blessed with perfect taste, both Miss and Mr Libra are some of the most stylish people in the zodiac. These types can’t bear to have so much as a hair out of place and will never be seen in clashing shades unless it’s a fashion statement.

Yet though they always look good enough to eat, there’s never anything arrogant or smug about Libra. People born under this sign are exceptionally sweet, gentle creatures who crave peace and harmony.

Bitter words and raised voices make them feel ill and they expend considerable energy defusing rows and restoring good relations between people in their orbit.

If circumstances force them into a role where they have to be in any way harsh, they can often fall prey to stress related health problems and for this reason they need to choose careers where they can keep their tender emotions on an even keel.

Yet though Libra is almost always delightful company, they do have their critics. People who know them very well can sometimes get impatient with them.

One of the problems is that Libra so hates discord that these subjects tend to agree with whatever the last person to speak said.

They genuinely can see everyone’s point of view, even when the opinions expressed are complete opposites. This is probably why Libra is symbolised by a pair of scales, but such even handedness can drive their loved ones wild.

It’s very difficult to discern what Libra actually thinks or believes about anything. They appear to have no fixed views of their own and find it almost impossible to make a decision..

In fact a typical Libra ploy when faced with a choice, is to dither for so long that time runs out and the choice is made for them.

People born under this sign do have opinions of course, they just fear to express them in case they upset anyone else present. So another Libra tactic is to appear to agree completely with the course of action under discussion and then quietly go off later to do something totally different - to the complete bewilderment and irritation of their friends..

Despite all this the Libra individual is a people person and usually to be found surrounded by a wide circle of friends. They don’t like doing things alone but they’re so popular they’re never short of a companion when they want one.

What’s more they make their friends feel exceptionally clever and wanted by consulting their advice before making any move whatsoever. The fact that they seldom take this advice is usually concealed for so long that by the time it comes to light, nobody’s likely to be offended.

Give Libra a peaceful home, a job in which they can express their artistic or musical talents - as people born under this sign have a great affinity for music- and they couldn’t be happier.

Libra in Love

Libra loves to love. In fact Libra can’t manage without love in their life. People born under this sign really are in love with love and they get completely smitten, easily and often.

Trouble is Libra is likely to fall in love with a new partner before falling out of love with the old partner and understandably this often leads to problems.

For a sign that requires harmony it’s remarkable how complicated the Libra love life can become. And it’s almost worse when Libra fails to meet someone new because without a compelling reason to leave an unsuccessful relationship, these gentle people will stay put.

They have been known to to actually walk up the aisle with a partner they knew was wrong for them, simply because they couldn‘t face hurting their feelings by telling them it was over.

Only a new head-over-heels romance will provide the motivation for a break up and until this comes along, Libra will soldier on. Fortunately for Libra this doesn’t usually take long.

It’s got to be really special to keep this flighty creature by your side for a lifetime but get it right and you’ll have a charming, warm hearted companion to cherish you twenty four hours a day. Fellow air signs, Gemini and Aquarius stand the best chance.
