Amy Winehouse is signed by Simon Fuller's 19 Management at 18, after being spotted in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and joins record label Island/Universal.
A fresh-faced Amy shoots to fame with debut album Frank - with songs about breaking up with Chris, her first proper boyfriend - in October 2003.
Amy meets Blake Fielder-Civil in the Good Mixer pub in Camden and falling for him hard, has his name tattooed above her left breast, over her heart.
'When I first met Blake I'd just finished promoting and doing gigs for my first album and I was supposed to have three months off,' Amy recalls, 'but in fact I didn't write anything for another year and a half.'
