CONFIRMED: Harry Potter star Rupert Grint admits he was scared when he was diagnosed with swine flu at the end of June. But he recovered quickly from his symptoms, saying: 'It was just like any other flu.'
The NHS advises that typical swine flu symptoms are sudden fever (a high body temperature of 38C/100.4F or above) and sudden cough. Other symptoms may include: headache, tiredness, chills, aching muscles, limb or joint pain, diarrhoea or stomach upset, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, and loss of appetite.
