The wedding of Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall
Lucy-Jo Hudson marries Alan Halsall
Lucy-Jo Hudson married Coronation Street star Alan Halsall at St Berteline's Church, Barthomley, Chesire in 2009 after being together for four years. The bride kept covered up in a long black coat as she made her way to the church.
Samia Smith, pregnant with her first child, and property developer husband Matt Smith attended the nuptials.
Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd was also there with girlfriend Lauren Shippey and protected his eyes in sunglasses.
Amanda Holden, who came with hubby Chris Hughes, tip-toed across the grass so that her heels wouldn't sink into the earth while Corrie's Vicky Binns wondered whether to fetch her wrap or risk bare shoulders.
Tina O'Brien and Jane Danson from Coronation Street wore pretty summer outfits and Ryan Thomas looked dapper and gave a smile.
Alan Halsall hid his wedding suit under a cloak when he appeared, just like his bride. They didn't want any paparazzi snapping their gorgeous outfits.
Lucy-Jo Hudson's cape featured a huge hood, making it difficult for her to see. She was helped along as she stepped out.
Ryan Thomas also supported Tina O'Brien by holding her hand. The couple welcomed their daughter Scarlett Jacqueline Thomas on 26 October 2008.
Emma Gleave, fiancée of Coronation Street's Simon Gregson, showed off her growing baby bump in a pretty maxi dress.
As their friends and family watched, Lucy-Jo Hudson was delighted to become Mrs Alan Halsall.
The actress met her man on the set of Coronation Street in 2002 and they began dating three years later. Lucy-Jo played Katy Harris in the soap but her character died in 2005. Alan joined the cast as Tyrone Dobbs back in 1998 and remains a popular resident on the street.
