Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) asks mum Deidre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) to look after his son Simon (Alex Bain) while he cleans the flat. When Deidre returns with Simon, she finds he hasn't done anything apart from drinking. After she's gone, Peter falls and bangs his head.
