Of course it would be wonderful to make all the money that upper echelons of the entertainment world make. However, this industry seems to prove, over and over, that money doesn't buy happiness. I can remember how scared I was of things throughout my 20s that do not affect me now - though I have health issues in my 50s. Also, the relationships in the entertainment world have never seemed stable, and I think the participants in the marital problems do feel real emotional pain. Then, for some, like Lindsay Lohan, it seems like they got so much success, money, loss of privacy at such an early age before they were able to mature enough to be able to handle it. Lindsay Lohan appears to spend most of her time shopping, at a time when she has no work - and its doubtful whether she will get work soon. Lindsay says she is having trouble paying her mortgage as she shops incessantly - and it seems like she is doing that to prove that she is still a well-to-do success in a world where superficiality is everything. Everytime I read about the emotional problems of stardom, I am happy I live a quiet life as a disabled person with solid friends, family and support.
