‘I’ve always wanted to do runway,’ Abbey told Now Online after her inaugural appearance.
‘Giles is great at mixing quirkiness with sexy and girly. My dress was corseted so although it was classy it was still sexy. Some of the finale pieces were unbelieveable.’
Even the fashion forward MAC make-up didn’t phase Abbey.
‘I had to have eyebrows bleached and I absolutely loved all the glitter. Everyone’s so used to seeing me with smoky eyes and big hair, but doing the catwalk is a chance to be a different character.
‘I loved every minute of it! It was over in a flash! It went too quickly.’
Abbey‘s blonde mane was tressed by a team from Toni&Guy led by Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck inspired by 70s disco queens. Think Farrah Fawcett from Charlies Angels inspired big hair.
To get Abbey‘s look, prep the hair with label.m Volume Mousse £10.50 and blast dry to build texture, then section the hair into two across the head at the crown.
The front section is tonged in small sections away from the face with a centre parting and pinned to set and the back is tonged up in larger sections and pinned.
Just before show time the hair is brushed out, creating flicks and lift and the shape is secured with label.m Hold and Gloss.
