Kate Middleton wore a Roksanda Ilincic dress at the UK's Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts

Kate Middleton gave Sarah Burton and Stella McCartney the day off at the UK's Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts in London yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave us a daring glimpse of collarbone in an asymmetric Roksanda Ilincic dress.

Perhaps Kate, 30, had taken style tips from Prime Minister David Cameron's wife Samantha Cameron, who sported Roksanda Ilincic at the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony on Friday.

The British fashion designer believes that 'anyone who naturally gravitates to my work will look magnificent in it' and Kate didn't disappoint!

Kate's Roksanda Ilincic dress costs £835, but luckily we don't need the Duchess's £35,000 clothing allowance to get a similar look.

Thanks to RI Roksanda Ilincic at Debenhams, you can copy Kate's style for a fraction of the price.

Just as with the main collection, the RI line plays with texture and shape to create a striking and versatile look suitable for day and evening.

This asymmetric RI Roksanda Ilincic dress (below) is £56 in the Debenhams sale.
