Rosario Dawson has revealed she regularly used to parade around in the buff with her mum.

Isabel Dawson encouraged the actress to strip in public as a teenager because she wanted her daughter to have the perfect tan.  

‘My mom took us to a nude beach in New York all the time when I was young,’ she tells Playboy.

‘She'd say: “I hate tan lines,” and off our bathing suits would go.’

Now Rosario, 29, is proud of her naked body.

‘Why should there be any shame or weirdness about something so beautiful and natural?’
