Singer expecting second child with husband Jamie Redknapp

Louise Redknapp is to be a mum for the second time

Louise Redknapp has announced she is pregnant.

The former Eternal singer discovered she was expecting her second child with husband Jamie Redknapp, 34, after just 4 weeks of trying.

‘It was just absolute shock when I found out,’ she says. ‘It took me 4 years to have Charley and so this time, after just a month, it was very unexpected. We had talked about having another baby and we kind of expected the same problems as last time.’

Louise, 33, conceived her 3-year-old son after undergoing laser surgery for endometriosis. But this time there was no need for medical treatment.

‘When I did the pregnancy test, I nearly fell off the chair,' she tells the Daily Mirror. 'The doctors don’t know why it has been so much easier this time – it’s just the luck of the draw I guess.’

Louise is due to give birth in November,
