Jack Tweed tied the knot with Jade Goody after he was released from prison

Jade Goody's husband Jack Tweed lodged an official appeal with probation chiefs yesterday.

He wears an electronic tag and has to be at his mum Mary’s home by 7pm every night.

But Jack, 21, wants the curfew lifted temporarily so he can be with Jade, 27, who may have just weeks to live.

‘Hopefully they will relax the tag to let me be with Jade,’ he tells The Sun. ‘She’s my wife and she needs me by her side.’

Jack was sentenced to 18 months for assaulting a teenager with a golf club in 2006.

‘They have put a few feelers out but they are not really expecting anything,’ says Jade's rep.

‘They are exploring possibilities. Both Jade and Jack were chuffed they got to spend their wedding night together.

‘We are not taking liberties. We don’t want to push it and we understand the deal — but it would be wonderful if something could be done.

'Jade would obviously love to have her husband by her side at the moment.’
