Lily Allen was left red-faced by her gaffe

Lily Allen mistakenly tried to pull Simon Cowell.

The singer, 23, sent a text to The X Factor boss, 49, by accident.

‘Over Christmas, I was kind of seeing this guy and then it was over,’ she tells The Sun.

‘So I texted my godmother in Jamaica and told her and as a joke I said, “Maybe my next conquest should be Simon Cowell.”

‘You know when someone is in your mind and you accidentally text them? So I texted him that. He replied, “Sorry?”’

Lily, who once sent a topless picture of herself to Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, 30, admits her personal life has been affected by her fame.

‘There are some things I just can’t do anymore,’ she tells a Dutch magazine.

‘Like when I’ve had sex, I can’t go to the sexual health clinic. I can’t go to a shop to get condoms.’
