Katy Perry split from Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy over Christmas

Katy Perry would rather die than miss out on having sex.

She said she'd taken a vow of celibacy, following her split with Travie McCoy, 27.

But the singer, 23, insists she was just messing.

'I am not going to be celibate,' she says. 'That was a joke,
and any fine journalist would have got that.

'Please, celibacy for the whole year? I'd rather die.'
