Gavin And Stacey star Mathew Horne insists he won't have children.

The actor, 30, is too worried he'll create an unattractive baby.

'I couldn’t bear having an ugly child,' he says.

'I’d have to be absolutely 100 per cent sure that the girl I had a child with was good looking enough. I couldn’t put up with anything else.

'I’d have to do a lot of research first to check that she didn’t have ugly genes, but I don’t think that would go down very well.'

Mathew also claims he's not responsible enough to be in charge of tot.

'I’ve got too much to do looking after myself,' he says. 'I don’t know how I’d possibly look after another person.

'I’m far too selfish to have a child – I just couldn’t do it.
