Liz McClarnon launched a solo career after leaving Atomic Kitten

Liz McClarnon has revealed she once was attacked by an overeager fan.

The singer says the scary incident occurred when she was touring with girl band Atomic Kitten.

‘We were in a bit of a tussle in Asia with security guards and fans,’ she tells Now Online. ‘People were trying to get to us and security guards were trying to keep them away.

‘So then a girl pulled out my hair and went: “I’ve got her hair.” But it was actually an extension, so I was like: “No you haven’t!”'

Liz, 27, is supporting the World Vision 24 Hour Famine Campaign.

The World Vision 24 Hour Famine weekend is taking place between 13-15 February 2009. The target this year is to raise £300,000.
