WOW! Fern Britton looks super slim on the red carpet

Fern Britton appears in an advertising campaign for Ryvita

Fern Britton stole the show at the Women Of The Year Awards last night – showing off her amazing new figure on the red carpet.

The This Morning host, who in May this year admitted that she'd secretly had a gastric band fitted 2 years ago, has been steadily losing weight. With the help of cycling, Fern has has dropped a massive 5st and now wears a size 16 instead of a 22.

Fern, 51, showed off her trim curves at the glittering event at London's Guildhall in a little black dress.

'Enough weight has disappeared to make a difference,' she said last month. 'It's nice to inhabit a slightly different shape. Everything I have does seem to fit better.'

Other celebs who attended the bash included Lorraine Kelly, 48, Esther Rantzen, 68, and Fiona Bruce, 44.
