Dale Winton: I wish I COULD shag everything in sight

TV host says he’s not into one-night stands

Dale Winton only came out when he was 47

Dale Winton is resigned to being single and having no love life.

The gay presenter says he’s too set in his ways to attract anyone for a relationship, and doesn’t do flings.

'I have lived on my own for so long that probably I’ve become quite selfish,’ he admits.

‘And I can only do monogamy; I’ve never done one-night stands. People are always telling me to loosen up, go pick up someone, but I just can’t do it.

‘I wish to God that I could shag everything in sight, then I’d probably have had more sex than I ever needed.’

Even if he could overcome his inhibitions, Dale, 54, also thinks he's missed the opportunity to have promiscuous sex.

I’m at the age where I probably now haven’t got the chance,’ he tells The Times. ‘I think my age goes against me.’
