Winona Ryder simulates sex with a ventriloquist's dummy in her latest film role.

In new alternative comedy The Ten - which examines each of the Ten Commandments - Winona's character Kelly LaFonda and her new husband visit a ventriloquist show where she takes a liking to one of the dolls.

'I fall in love with the dummy and we run away together,' she explains.

Winona, 34, mounts the dummy and has frantic sex with him, before being caught in the act by her furious husband.

'You know, it's not a script that I think a lot of agents would offer, and those are always the scripts I want,' says the actress, who had a hoot working on the film.

'The movie is obviously satirical and dirty, but it's not mean.'
