EastEnders launches YouTube channel

Soap creates archive of most memorable scenes

EastEnders has been running on BBC1 for 23 years

Now you can see all your favourite moments from EastEnders online.

The BBC1 soap has created a YouTube channel to bring together all the classic clips from the show’s 23-year history.

‘Over the years EastEnders has built up a huge, loyal base of fans who love the programme,’ YouTube director Patrick Walker tells The Guardian.

‘This dedicated channel will enable even more engagement with this community, as well as exposing one of the BBC's most popular shows to new global audiences.’

It will include infamous scenes from the show as well as cast interviews and awards ceremonies.
