Natascha McElhone's husband had a weak heart

Postmortem reveals the surgeon had cardiac condition

Natascha McElhone and Martin Kelly had been married for 10 years

Pregnant actress Natascha McElhone’s husband did die of a heart attack.

Plastic surgeon Martin Kelly, 42, was found slumped in the doorway of the couple's £2.5million Fulham home on Tuesday night, a day after their 10th wedding anniversary.

Natascha, 36, who is expecting their 3rd child, has flown home from LA with her sons Theo, 8, and Otis, 4, where she was filming hit TV show Californication with David Duchovny.

A postmortem at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital found Martin died of dilated cardiomyopathy.

The condition causes the heart to become weakened and enlarged, so it cannot pump blood efficiently.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard has confirmed there will not be an inquest as Martin died of natural causes.
