Youre eight months pregnant now has it been exhausting presenting The Album Chart Show?
Its been great. Im not doing as much running up and down the stairs as last series and there are lots of shots of me from the collarbone upwards in my Mamas & Papas maternity wear. Im rocking the maternity look.
So youre not going to be giving birth on TV?
We finish filming four weeks before Im due to give birth, so I should be fine. Its all my fault. I wanted to do it so much, I didnt care as long as they didnt mind me looking massively fat. Im a good Northern girl and Ill work up until the first contraction.
Is your three-year-old daughter Lola excited about having a little brother or sister?
Yeah, shes really excited. She loves babies. Its very sweet.
Do you miss your ladette days?
I was never falling out of The Met Bar all the time like the papers said I was. I cant win to be honest back in the day, I was put in the ladette box and now Im put in the dull yummy mummy box. Im a lot more organised now, but I still have fun.
Whats the worst gig youve ever been to?
I cant think of one. I think Im quite affected by live music. Ive been hysterical by the side of the stage at a 5ive gig before, so Im easily pleased.
Youve had a few mishaps on air, such as announcing Nicole Appleton and Liam Gallaghers marriage months before they actually got wed
That was so embarrassing. Id read it in the paper that morning, so I said congratulations to them. The next day the papers were saying Id announced it. I was mortified I only know Nicole to say hello to. Ive got the same agent as Kate Thornton, whos a good friend of Nicole, so I got a message passed on to let them know that I wasnt a stalker.
And then there was the time you said that the Queen Mum smelt of wee do you regret that?
It was just one of those things. Ive moved on from that now. Im a good girl these days and I try not to slur senior Royals if I can help it.
