John Mayer's under pressure

He's feeling the heat - and not just from Jen

John Mayer is feeling the stress of making a commitment to Jennifer Aniston

Having vowed to commit to Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer, 31, has wasted no time in showing his love for her.

The pair even spent Thanksgiving together. But the pressure is getting to him. And it isn’t just coming from Jen, 39, but the rest of her family, too.

‘It was the first time that Jen’s spent the holiday with a man since she was with Brad,’ a source tells Now.

‘They were with John’s parents in Boston this time, just a week after going out to dinner with Jen’s dad and stepmum.

‘Jennifer has always loved Thanksgiving, but she used to associate it a lot with Brad because they always spent it with his family in Missouri. Spending time with her family is cementing their relationship, but her dad’s now in touch quite a lot and John’s feeling the heat.’

John Aniston, 75, has talked openly to the couple about his desire to be a grandfather.

‘He likes John, but he’s made it clear how protective he is of his daughter,' adds our source.

Jen sparked rumours that she may already be expecting when she was pictured hiding her stomach with a bag and sporting what looks suspiciously like a baby bump.

For now, she’s denying the rumour. ‘Jen’s got plans now to go somewhere warm for Christmas with John,’ the source adds. ‘The added bonus for him is that they’ll be away from family pressures.’
