Billie Piper: I worry topless scenes will ruin my career

Billie Piper has revealed that she may have damaged her chances of making it big in America after going topless on screen.

The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl is currently airing in the States and her steamy sex scenes have caused a stir.

Now the actress worries that playing a high-class prostitute will affect future work offers.

‘Someone said the other day, rather viciously: “What A-list stars get their tits out?”’ she tells The Sun.

‘And then I started thinking: “Oh, my God, what have I done? I’ve ruined my future career.”’

But Billie – who plays Belle de Jour in the show – can't understand why people get so worked up about nudity.

‘After all, they’re only breasts,' she says. ‘You get photographed on the beach topless.’

Billie, 25, is currently filming the second series of the ITV2 show. She is expecting her first child with husband Laurence Fox.
