SHOCK! Nicola Roberts splits from fiancé Carl Davies

Girls Aloud star calls it quits on her relationship with businessman

Nicola Roberts has ditched fiancé Carl Davies after a series of heated rows.

The Girls Aloud star met the entrepreneur 18 months ago and last October they announced they planned to marry. But insiders say she's fed up with the constant public rows.

‘It’s all very upsetting for Nicola but she’d be the first to admit things haven’t been great between her and Carl for a while,’ a source tells the News of The World.

‘Their relationship has always been feisty but recently the rows were explosive.

'There have been a lot of late night phone calls and now she’s decided to call time on it all.’

In November, Carl reportedly left Nicola, 22, sobbing in a dressing room after a bust-up at G-A-Y at London's Astoria.

Last year she insisted no man would come between her and bandmates Cheryl Cole, 24, Nadine Coyle, 22, Sarah Harding, 26, and Kimberley Walsh, 26.

‘Girls Aloud is my life. It’s all I’ve known so I could never leave the band for a man.’
