Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie still best friends

Despite controversy over leaked pictures, the Simple Life stars have lunch

Paris Hilton was spotted having lunch with a heavily pregnant Nicole Richie at Forte in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Their lunch date sent paparazzi into a frenzy because their pair, both 26, were rumoured to have fallen out over leaked pics from Nicole's baby shower on 18 November.

The hotel heiress denies circulating photos of the Wizard Of Oz-themed bash.

‘Paris was the hostess of the shower, which a large number of people attended. Many of these guests were taking photos with camera phones…there is no way she had anything to do with this,’ says her spokesperson.

Nicole - the adopted daughter of Lionel Richie – had granted exclusive coverage of the celebrations to Instyle magazine.
