EXCLUSIVE: Alex Zane denies he and Sadie Frost are back together

They haven't even had a cheeky snog, he insists

Popworld presenter Alex Zane says talk of him rekindling his romance with Sadie Frost, 41, is just not true.

He doesn’t deny canoodling with Jude Law’s ex in the past but reckons he's only been back to her house recently to pick up his MP3 player.

‘I’ve seen her once in four months,' he told Now's Party Animal Susie Harding. 'We were spotted together because I went to get my iPod back which she’s had for four months! Thankfully she hadn’t replaced any of my music.

‘I’m not going out with Sadie again, we haven’t even had a cheeky snog. I often find it hard to stay friends with exes and the same can be said with Sadie.’

Speaking at the Sony Radio Awards, 28-year-old Alex also put a brave face on the demise of Popworld. The C4/E4 weekend show is coming to an end.

‘Axe is such an ugly word,’ he grimaced. ‘I suppose I feel we’ve done everything we can do with the programme and with me taking over the Xfm Breakfast Show as well, it would have been quite tough to do both.

'But Alexa [Chung] and I would like to work together again. We are a bit gutted that it’s finished.’
