The rules
1. Never miss breakfast
Your body needs nutrients to function as soon as you wake up. Eating a healthy breakfast will kick-start your metabolism, helping you burn more calories throughout the day.
2. Eat three meals and two snacks a day
To balance blood sugar levels, you need a regular intake of good foods throughout the day, with a healthy snack between each meal.
3. Replenish
Drink a large glass of hot or cold water with a slice of lemon when you wake up, to flush out toxins, and drink 2-3 litres of water throughout the day.
Mood boosting foods
This diet contains a variety of foods that will perk you up if you’re feeling irritable:
Brazil nuts The number one source of selenium, which helps improve your mood, prevent depression and keep wrinkles at bay.
Chocolate Dark chocolate contains small amounts of chemicals that improve our mental wellbeing. It also boosts our levels of endorphins, the brain’s natural ‘happy hormones’.
Mackerel Oily fish’s secret weapon is a fatty acid called omega-3, which can help prevent heart disease, improve IQ and immune function, may help improve symptoms of arthritis, and can help with certain skin problems.

i follwed this diet, but found it difficult as htere were no recipies pertaining to to spanish chicken - ie: traditonally has chikpeas can you have these. when scrambling eggs are you allowed milk in them, and based on the htemes of the recipes - how are spanigh chicken, ratatouie different. Also courgette bolognaise - mushrooms, courgettes onions and tomato - that it? or do you ave it with pasta or rice noodles, or meat... there just wasnt enough details. are any caffine products allowed? Can you swap meals about eg: lunchtime day 2 with lunchtime day 3, can you repeat meal days?
