Ingredients per mega-burger
¼lb ground beef – with a pinch of salt
4 slices bacon
Some chopped onion
Some sliced mushrooms
1 hamburger bun
2 slices american cheese
3tsp peanut butter
Ketchup, mustard, relish and/or mayonnaise
1 large iceberg lettuce leaf
1 slice tomato
Method
1 Split the meat into two ¼lb patties and pan fry with the bacon, adding the onions and mushrooms for extra flavour.
2 When you're done, stack your burger in the following order, from bottom to top: Top bun, ¼lb patty, 1 slice cheese, 2 slices bacon, 2tsp peanut butter, ¼lb patty, other slice of cheese, 2 slices bacon, 1 tsp peanut butter, onions and mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, relish and/or mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, bottom bun.
