'I love chocolate and I avoid not eating it whenever I can. I really don't mind its hue of brown and I even go for white. Even if pressed for a particular manufacturer, I couldn't possibly express a preference, although I do like to support fairly traded chocolate products. So my favourite puddings will always have a chocolaty theme. Hence one of my dilemmas – copyright and favouring a brand – forgive the pun.
'So what I will divulge is one of my private little indulgences: I get a huge bowl, fill it not quite full of ice cream (a good strongly-flavoured vanilla) and on it I empty out several pots of chocolate fromage frais. I sit down in front of the telly and very slowly empty the bowl of its entire contents, using a spoon of course. I gently sweep my finger around the edges and refill immediately.'
