
Ingredients
2tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
500g/1lb 2oz minced beef
2tsp Marmite
1tbsp HP Sauce
1 cup water
2 large carrots, sliced
1 cup peas
8 new potatoes or 4 winter potatoes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
1 Heat the oil in a large pan and gently cook the onion until it's translucent.
2 Add the mince and cook through.
3 Add the Marmite, HP Sauce, water, carrots, peas and potatoes. Season and cook slowly, covered, for an hour. Add more water if necessary.
