Brad Pitt: The kids speak better French than I do

Actor struggling to learn the language

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are staying in France

Brad Pitt has admitted he’s desperately trying to learn French – but his kids are already pretty fluent.

The actor, 44, is currently staying in France with partner Angelina Jolie, 32, who is expecting twins.

‘I’ve been learning French,’ he says. 'But the kids are doing it too – and they are better than me.’

The couple, who are already mum and dad to daughter Shiloh, 2 this month, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3, are keen to have a bilingual family.

‘French is a second language in our house,’ Angelina - whose late mum Marcheline Betrand was French - tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘Being here is very good for their language skills.’
