David Beckham denies inviting model to private party

Footie hunk’s rep dismisses Mariann Fogarassy's claims

David Beckham is now living in Italy

David Beckham has refuted reports he's asked a glamour model to join him at a private bash.

Mariann Fogarassy, 22, claims the footie hunk has been emailing her and that they met at an AC Milan match in Budapest last week.

‘Beckham squeezed my elbow for a moment and smiled,’ she claims. ‘Then I put my business card into his pocket. I knew he must have felt it.

‘And in fact an email arrived today, saying that just in case I’d be in Milan next week, I’m invited to the club’s party. Luckily, I’ll be shooting in Milan next week.’

But a rep for David, 33, who is happily married to Victoria Beckham, 35, insists he has never met Mariann.

‘There is no truth in this story,’ the spokesman tells the Daily Star. ‘I was there and there was no interaction with this woman at the stadium.

‘There is also no party in Milan. She is seeking publicity.’

UPDATE 10 June - The Daily Star has now unreservedly apologised to David Beckham and his family for making these allegations and for any distress and embarrassment caused.
