Kelly Rowland surprises leukemia patient

6-year-old in search of bone marrow transplant

Kelly Rowland is keen to raise awareness about leukemia

Kelly Rowland visited a 6-year-old girl who is suffering from leukemia as a special birthday treat.

The former Destiny’s Child star joined Jasmina Anema and her best friend Isabelle at NYU Medical Center.

Jasmine is in search of a bone marrow transplant, and Kelly, 28, is keen to do all she can to help find a donor.

‘This young, beautiful little girl needs a match,’ Kelly told ABC News. ‘When you meet her you just can’t help but fall in love.’
