Anne Hathaway: I look like a giraffe with leprosy when I fake tan

Actress reckons it made her smell like nachos too

Anne Hathaway prefers the natural look

Anne Hathaway has vowed never to use fake tan again.

The Devil Wears Prada actress, 26, says she had a bad experience with the product.

‘I had a spray tan done and I wound up looking like an orange zebra,’ she says.

‘When it came off, because I’m so pale underneath, I looked like a giraffe with leprosy.

'And I smelled like nachos and maple syrup the whole time. It was not a good idea.’

Anne split from boyfriend Raffaello Follieri in June, just days before he was arrested for fraud.

He was sentenced to more than four years in prison in September.

Anne was nominated for Best Actress in Rachel Getting Married at the Oscars on Sunday.
