Beyonce Knowles’s dad steps down as Kelly Rowland's manager

Singer is yet to announce his replacement

Kelly Roland was in Destiny's Child with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams

Kelly Rowland and her manager Matthew Knowles have parted ways.

The singer, 27, has worked with Beyonce Knowles's dad since she joined Destiny’s Child in 1990.

But it's thought Kelly, whose solo career has failed to take off, is ready for a change.

'After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship, reads a statement from Matthew. 

'As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly.'

Kelly praised her former manager, saying he was a 'positive influence' on her career and guided her to 'great success'.

She is yet to announce who her new manager will be.
