Gwyneth Paltrow: I'm helping Madonna through divorce

Actress says she’ll be there for her friend in any way she can

Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna both live in London

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she has been supporting Madonna following her split from husband Guy Ritchie.

The 35-year-old actress has been close pals with the Material Girl for years and they even share a personal trainer.

‘She's a very good friend,’ she tells the BBC. ‘I'm supporting her in all the ways that I can. I'm just there.’

And Gwyn’s not the only celeb reaching out to Madonna, 50, and Guy, 40.

Trudie Styler, 54, who introduced the couple at a dinner party in 1999, is devastated about the divorce.  

‘I love them both,’ she tells Access Hollywood. ‘They’re both dear friends of mine and good things sometimes come to an end.

'Obviously they’ve been struggling for a while. I think they’re destined to become great pals.’

Madonna and Guy, who announced their separation last Wednesday, are parents to sons Rocco, 8, and adopted David Banda, 3.

Madge also has daughter Lourdes, 12, with ex Carlos Leon.
