Dannii Minogue: Ronan Keating should have stuck to his solo career

The X Factor judge thinks he's just trying to get in the limelight

Dannii Minogue is mentoring the over-25 category in The X Factor this year

Dannii Minogue has hit back at the comments Ronan Keating made about her last week.

The Boyzone star said The X Factor judge had 'lost it' since Cheryl Cole, 25, joined the panel.

But Dannii, 36, reckons Ronan, 31, only made the jibes to gain media exposure.

‘How convenient Ronan managed to think of this line when he and his comeback band have a new single out,’ she says.

‘I can’t think why Ronan left his solo career to go back to a band he ditched. It would be fun if the band dared to come on The X Factor, but so far Simon [Cowell] hasn’t found room for them.

'Maybe, that’s the real problem.’
