EastEnders dog Wellard is set to make his final appearance in the BBC 1 soap.
The loveable pet - in real-life a female Belgian Tervuren called Kyte, is found dying on the floor by Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty).
Wellard, who once bit Ian Beale on the bottom, has been a character in the show since 1994.
He's been played by 3 different animals (Kyte was preceded by her mum and gran) and has had many owners in Albert Square.
It is finally Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) who accompanies the sick mutt to the vet's to hear the worst.
She and ex-husband Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen) must then help their families say goodbye to the beloved hound.
Wellard’s last scenes are set to air this Friday on BBC1.
