Jen finds new love

Jennifer Aniston has finally found a new man.

Since the 39-year-old officially split up with Vince Vaughn in December 2006, she’s endured a miserable time in the love stakes but now she's close to American singer-songwriter John Mayer, 30.

The pair were recently snapped together sunbathing in Florida.

One friend tells Now: ‘Jen usually guards her privacy fiercely, but she feels so comfortable with John that she doesn’t care who sees her.

'He’s been the perfect gentleman and paid her lots of attention. They’ve been trying to keep their romance under wraps, but realised during their time in Miami that there was no point keeping up the pretence. They feel like they’re falling in love, so why hide it?’

Jennifer was introduced to John last month by Sheryl Crow and although Jen’s friends are delighted that she’s finally bagged a new man, they’re begging her to play it cool because of John’s reputation as a Romeo. He’s dated a number of Hollywood leading ladies, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz.

‘She’s not going to overthink this thing with John and is letting it grow organically,' says her friend. 'She has no expectations.’
