David Walliams has revealed that Simon Cowell used sneaky tactics to charm him onto the Britain's Got Talent judging panel.

Show boss Simon also managed to tempt Alesha Dixon away from BBC rival show Strictly Come Dancing to join him and Amanda Holden, 40, on the talent show.

'He just seduces you,' says comedian David, 40.

'Simon is a man you can't say no to!'

Many say Simon, 52, 'stole' Alesha in an attempt to boost ratings on his programme - but the former Strictly winner insists this wasn't the case.

'A person can't be stolen,' says Alesha, 33.

'At the end of the day I was on Strictly Come Dancing for 3 years and I think that's a respectable length of time.

'It was my choice to leave and I'm excited.'
