Could the duo be the next Ant and Dec?

Mark Wright and Dougie Poynter became friends in the jungle

Mark Wright wants TV producers to sign up him and pal Dougie Poynter as co-presenters on their own TV programme. 

Former TOWIE star Mark, 24, grew close to McFly's Dougie, also 24, in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle last year and now they want to appear on our screens as a double act.

'They're both really active and sporty so a high energy, fun-packed entertainment show would be ideal,' says a source.

And Mark's hoping they'll find the same success as comedy duo Ant and Dec.

'Mark and Dougie have a huge fan base, individually and together,' the source tells the Daily Star.

'Most girls fancy them but they also appeal to men as they've got the blokey banter.'
