BABY JOY! Amanda Holden 'in critical condition' after giving birth to baby girl - but stable now

The BGT star and husband Chris Hughes confirm safe arrival of their new daughter

Amanda Holden is now the mother of 2 daughters

Amanda Holden has given birth to a beautiful daughter, a sister for 6-year-old Lexi.

The little girl, who arrived on Monday, has been named Hollie Rose.

'Hollie Rose Hughes was born on 23 January 2012. She is healthy and weighed in at 6.1lb but Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days,' reveals spokeswoman Alison Griffin.

'She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.'

Amanda - who was 8 months pregnant - was forced to pull out of Britain's Got Talent auditions in Blackpool this week and admitted herself to hospital.

The actress had a miscarriage in 2010 and lost a baby boy at 7 months in February last year.
