Simon Cowell loves Kelly Rowland's X factor drama - he wants her back!

The Destiny's Child star has made an impression

Kelly Rowland has had fun on her first series of The X Factor

When Now recently caught up with Kelly Rowland, she gave the biggest hint yet she's returning to The X Factor judging panel next series, saying: ‘That depends on Simon.'

Sounds like a power play to us!

It's a good thing Simon Cowell likes a bit of drama with his judges.

During last year's series, the media mogul said: ‘There are definitely two divisions.

'You've got Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue, who look like they've been sucking on lemons. And then there's me and Cheryl Cole trying to have a good time.'

So maybe 30-year-old Kelly's spat with fellow judge Tulisa, 23, over Misha B's backstage behaviour is another reason why Simon's keen on her staying put.

‘Kelly's banter with Louis is also a bonus,' reveals our insider.

We'd love to see Kelly putting it down again next year.

Kelly's rep says that no final decisions for 2012 have been made yet.
