Jennifer Metcalfe was a majorette

Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe is loved-up with former Dancing On Ice partner Sylvain Longchambon.

After they fell for each other on the ice last year, Jennifer, 24, experienced her most embarrassing Christmas party ever.

'Sylvain invited me to France for Christmas,' Jennifer recalls.

'We'd only been together a few weeks and there were 25 of his family there - but we couldn't communicate very well as I didn't speak French.

'Sylvain made me twirl a kitchen foil tube like when I was a baton twirler with the majorettes.

'It was so embarrassing. I bollocked him later.'

Hollyoaks is on Channel 4 at 6.30pm on weeknights.
